PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device which can effectively and fully clean, even the projected tip portion of a projected article to be cleaned and can avoid adhesion of dust to a brush in a brush mechanism portion. SOLUTION: This cleaning device, comprising a cleaning unit U1, having a housing 2 into which a projection-like article M to be cleaned can be inserted from an insertion port 2i; a brush mechanism 3 for cleaning the article M inserted into the housing 2; a rotation-driving portion 4 for rotating the brush mechanism 3; and a spraying portion 5 for spraying a cleaning liquid L in the housing 2, has disposed a tip side-cleaning brush 11, having at a prescribed density, a plurality of projections 10,..., which are formed from an elastic material and are made to abut against tip edge portions 10e,..., with at least the tip side Mss of the article M for scraping off dusts on the tip side Mss, distributed in the brush mechanism 3.
