A method and a system for providing knowledge information to a mobile terminal are provided to enable a user to access the related information easily by providing a suitable interface and encyclopedic information, which is extended to related/surrounding fields by linking fragmented data. A database(12) stores encyclopedic information classified into each property by forming a relational database with related information of other titles related to a category of one title. A searcher enables a user to search the database with a browser of a mobile terminal(10) by displaying a search condition button and a search input window to a display window of the mobile terminal. A manager browser(13) receives a query to extract the title from the query and extracts the information related to the title by a manager when a search command received from the searcher is a sentence. An initial search output window outputs the title and an abstract of the information, which is a search result of the searcher. A property window displays the information classified into each property by linking with the initial search output window. A related information link window displays the related information according to the relational database by linking with the initial search output window.
