PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method and an image forming device capable of obtaining sufficient black density when printing in black using an ink of K and an ink other than K. SOLUTION: In the image forming method when printing black by the image forming device having a recording head in which a plurality of nozzles for discharging inks of colors of K and other than K are arranged in a main scanning direction, reciprocatingly and relatively moving the recording head to a recording medium, and carrying out recording action in an outward route and a homeward route in the reciprocating action, the above problem is solved by discharging the ink to the same recording position from the nozzle of K and from a nozzle behind the nozzle of K when there is the nozzle located behind the nozzle of K in the moving direction of the recording head.
