PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of an ultrasonic probe that, when constituting a seal surface between a connector and a waterproof cover of a simple horizontal surface, the constitution causes a physical interference with a cable take-out part and a physical interference with a housing face of an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus. SOLUTION: A flange 26 is formed surrounding the circumference of the connector 10 and its lower face constitutes a downward seal surface 30. The downward seal face 30 has a slope at its longitudinal-side face. The cover has an upward seal face having a same shape to that of the downward seal face. The cover side has a packing. One side of the seal face is downward sloped and the other side is upward sloped so as to avoid the physical interference between a projection part 22 and the seal face and also avoid the collision of the seal face with the housing face 106.
