PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image engraving device which suppresses unnecessary vibrations due to vibrations transmitted for engraving, and enables further correct fine engraving.SOLUTION: An image engraving device is equipped with a solenoid 17 which uses a permanent magnet and an electromagnet 21; and a stylus 19 supported by the solenoid 17 through a stylus holder 37. The stylus 19 is vibrated by generated vibrations of the solenoid 17 through the stylus holder 37, thereby performing fine engraving on a surface of an engraved medium. To the stylus holder 37, a damping mechanism 43 which suppresses unnecessary vibrations while permitting vibration transmission from the solenoid 17 to the stylus 19 is joined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
