PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring device capable of quickly detecting an automatic transaction device in which abnormality has occurred without imposing an excessive load on a network.SOLUTION: A monitoring device 6 of an automatic transaction device is communicatively connected with a plurality of automatic transaction devices 10 and a journal server 4 for managing journal data of the automatic transaction devices in block and monitors the automatic transaction devices. The monitoring device 6 comprises: a reading unit for reading journal data of the automatic transaction devices from the journal server; identification unit for identifying an automatic transaction device of which the state should be checked on the basis of transaction date of the read journal data; and a state confirmation unit for performing the state confirmation of the identified automatic transaction device. |
