摘要

The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating parasitic infection in fish, containing a Piper nigrum extract and a compound isolated from Piper nigrum as active ingredients. The composition of the present invention inhibits cell death in fish due to infection by Miamiensis avidus and induces death of Miamiensis avidus as well. Thus, the composition can be effective as an agent for preventing and treating parasitic infection in cultured fish.
