The present invention refers to a composite or laminate material of the postformable sandwich type and process for obtaining the same, which consists of a core made of recycled material resulting from urban solid residues (multilayer board containers of the Tetra Brik (r) type with a polymeric matrix) and outer metallic slim layers for protecting the core, which in some cases may require an adhesive for strengthening the metallic sheets. The metallic sheets provide the composite material with such a mechanical and physical resistance that it may be used in outdoors furniture, walls, roofs, amongst others. The innovation of this sandwich-like laminate refers to the capacity thereof to be cold post formed with folds or stampings for specific shapes and which may be applied in the construction, aeronautics, automotive, navy, railroad industries, amongst others. |
