PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a function of a docking station to wirelessly transmit content from a portable media device to one or more remote speakers located throughout a home, an office, or other locations.SOLUTION: In addition to other aspects disclosed, a docking station that receives content through wired connection from a portable media device reproduces or displays the content through a speaker, and forwards the content to a remote speaker.
