PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting layer formation material for forming a light emitting layer of an organic electroluminescent element by means of a wet method.SOLUTION: In a light emitting layer formation material for forming a light emitting layer 6 of an organic electroluminescent element 1, a component constituting a host material consisting of one or more phosphine oxide derivatives and a component constituting a guest material having a phosphine oxide group that does not coordinate to a transition metal element or an ion and consisting of one or more organic compounds and/or organic metal compounds are dissolved in a 1-7C alcohol solvent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
