<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus comprising a user interface which, when using a touch panel, does not hide a portion designated by touching but enables a user to adjust an image while sufficiently checking the image. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is provided with: a ring member 23 disposed rotatably with respect to the lens barrel body of an imaging lens 20; an imaging part; a display 8; an imaging part which converts a subject image captured via the imaging lens 20 to an electric signal; a control part which displays a signal from the imaging part on the display; and a touch panel 8b provided on the display.
