The device of the present invention comprises: a user input unit to receive a user input of a search keyword; a display unit to display a list of annotations related to the search keyword from one or more annotations set for one or more pieces of contents; and a control unit to control the user input unit and the display unit. The user input unit receives a user input to select one or more in the list of annotations. The display unit displays contents, for which the selected annotations are set, from one or more pieces of contents. The present invention provides a variety of embodiments to provide annotations created by a user.
