PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of detecting a foreign matter.SOLUTION: A power transmission system 7 comprises: a plurality of detection coils 11 which are arranged on a housing 6 of a power transmission coil device 4, and each of which includes terminals A, B; a switching unit 12 for selecting, as a first terminal, one of terminals A of the plurality of detection coils 11 and selecting, as a second terminal, one of terminals B of the plurality of detection coils 11; and a control unit 14 for performing first foreign matter determination processing that makes the switching unit 12 select, as a first terminal, a terminal A of one detection coil 11 of two detection coils 11 differing from each other and select, as a second terminal, a terminal B of the other detection coil 11 and determines the existence of a conductive foreign matter depending on whether connection between the first and second terminals is in a short-circuit state or an open state, and second foreign matter determination processing that makes the switching unit 12 select, as first and second terminals, terminals A, B of the same detection coil 11 and determines the existence of a conductive foreign matter depending on change in the amount of magnetic flux interlinked with the same detection coil 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
