PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control throttle device for suppressing electric power required for failure diagnosis of a return spring or a default spring.SOLUTION: A CPU 83 executes first diagnosis processing for determining whether the opening of a throttle valve 21 is converged to a diagnosis opening or not by driving the throttle valve 21 in the opening direction, and for determining whether the opening of the throttle valve 21 is converged to a default opening or not by stopping the drive of the throttle valve 21, followed by second diagnosis processing for determining whether the opening of the throttle valve 21 is converged to a fully-closed opening or not by driving the throttle valve 21 in the closing direction, and for determining whether the opening of the throttle valve 21 is converged to the default opening or not by stopping the drive of the throttle valve 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
