<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet having high transfer sensitivity in printing of thermal transferring, capable of obtaining a printed image with high concentration, having high definition of thermal transferring image, and capable of obtaining a printed matter with required hue such as neutral black by preventing the back trap of a dye. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal transfer sheet in which a heat resistant smooth layer 4 is arranged on one face of a substrate 1, and a primer layer2 and a dye layer 3 are formed in series on the other face of the substrate 1, the dye layer 3 has three kinds of a yellow dye layer 31, a magenta dye layer 32, and a cyan dye layer 33, the printing concentration of a yellow component in the black thermal transferring image is 90% or more relative to the printing concentration of only yellow obtained by transferring from the yellow dye layer to a thermal transfer image receiving sheet when forming the black thermal transferring image to the thermal transfer image receiving sheet from the dye layers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
