PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a point of sales (POS) system that can reduce an operation of a customer in a settlement process.SOLUTION: The POS system is configured to include: a registration POS register 20 that registers a purchase target commodity; and a plurality of settlement POS registers 30 that perform a settlement on the basis of registration data on a commodity. Then, the registration POS register 20 is configured to execute: a process in steps S12, S15, S18 and the like of acquiring status information with regard to a settlement process from each settlement POS register 30; a process in a step S22 of selecting a settlement POS register 30 to perform a settlement as to a registered commodity on the basis of the status information; and a process in a step S23 of transmitting registration data on the registered commodity to the selected settlement POS register 30. |
