PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create the transmission function of a virtual sounding body across a whole audible band, and to prevent the evaluation of sounding characteristics across the whole audible band from being hindered.SOLUTION: A transmission function in a low band among audible bands is calculated by coupled analysis, and a transmission function in a middle band which is partially overlapped with the low band is calculated by non-coupled analysis. Then, the transmission function in the middle band is worked such that the transmission functions can be smoothly connected in the mutually overlapped frequency bands, and the transmission functions are connected so that a transmission function ranging from the low band to the middle band can be generated. Furthermore, the high band portion of the transmission functions to be generated from an impulse response measured about a reference sounding body having acoustic characteristics which approximate to those of the virtual sounding body are connected so that a transmission function across a whole audible band about the virtual sounding body can be created. |
