A subscriber identity module comprising one or more hardware components for authenticating a subscriber on a communication network, with the subscriber identity module comprising: a first set of subscriber identity data for authenticating the subscriber; at least a second set of subscriber identity data for authenticating the subscriber, with the first set of subscriber identity data differing from the second set of subscriber identity data; and a means for managing the first set of subscriber identity data and the second set of subscriber identity data, with the managing being realized by static management functions; wherein: the managing means further has management application code, and said management application code enables a variable managing by evaluating, based on one or more environment parameters, whether a static management function that has already been triggered is to be executed and, upon determining that the management function is to be executed based on the evaluation, variably executing the static management function such that the static management function is adapted according to the environment parameters of the subscriber identity module.
