The invention provides a method for managing user account data in a virtual mobile communication system operable in a first group (100) and a second group (200) of mobile communication networks, between which a mobile communication device can roam. The device comprises a SIM-card, which is caused to identify itself using different IMSI codes when roaming in different networks. A first gateway node (111) and a first Business Support System (BSS) (112) are associated with the first group of networks (100). Said first BSS keeps a user account associated with the user. A second gateway node (211) and a second Business Support System (BSS) (212) are associated with the second group of networks (200). A first Domain Name Server (DNS) (3) is used for resolving an IP address for the first or second BSS or for a first (113) or second (213) web server. The web servers each provide a web interface presenting user account data status. The DNS is caused to query the first or second BSS for such data, based upon a Unified Resource Locator (URL). The URL is the same regardless of which of the first and second network groups the device is served by. When the device is served by the second network group, communications are routed via a second serving node (225, 235) and the second gateway node. The second gateway node provides the second BSS with usage information relating to said communications. The second BSS locates the first BSS as the keeper of the user account data and forwards to the first BSS incoming communications pertaining to the device or user account. The first BSS updates the user account data using the received information. |
