PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device that suppresses ink from adhering to a contact member which contacts a fiber member while cleaning ink adhering to a wiper blade.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device 1 comprises a recording head 10 that discharges ink to a paper P, a wiper blade 20 that cleans an ink discharge surface 17 of the recording head 10, and a cleaning mechanism 80. The cleaning mechanism 80 cleans the wiper blade 20. The cleaning mechanism 80 has a fiber member 83 and a contact member 91. The fiber member 83, formed in a belt shape, includes a first surface F1 against which is pressed the wiper blade 20 and a second surface F2 opposing to the first surface F1. The contact member 91 is arranged to oppose to the second surface F2 of the fiber member 83, and contacts the fiber member 83 when the wiper blade 20 is pressed against the fiber member 83. Mass per unit area of the second surface F2 of the fiber member 83 is larger than mass per unit area of the first surface F1 of the fiber member 83.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
