PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a console box which can absorb, when a load is input in an emergency from above to a lid part, the load in an emergency by surely breaking a plurality of bars.SOLUTION: A console box 2 includes: a console body 4 which has a pair of right and left side wall parts 3; a storage container part 5 which is installed between the right and left side wall parts 3 of the console body 4; and a lid part 6 which is openably/closably disposed on the upper part of the console body 4. A plurality of slit parts 23 are formed in a vehicle longitudinal direction 22 on both sides of the storage container part 5 so that a plurality of bars 25 which are broken when a load 21 in an emergency is input from above to the lid part 6 are arranged between the slit parts 23. A notch part 41 which serves as a rupture starting point when the load 21 in an emergency is input is formed at a side face of the bars 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
