An organic electroluminescent display device and a method of fabricating the same are provided to prevent a seal pattern from being dispersed on a display region of a second substrate by forming an intercept pattern on the second substrate. A first substrate(210) is disposed opposite to a second substrate to form a display region having plural pixel regions. A thin film transistor is positioned in the pixel region. An organic luminescent diode is positioned in the pixel region. A seal pattern(270) is positioned around the display region on the first substrate. An intercept pattern(280) is formed on a lower portion of the second substrate to receive the seal pattern. A receiving space between an inner wall(281) and an outer wall(282) is wider than a width of the seal pattern. |
