The hydraulic drive unit consists of a linear motor, especially as a cylinder-piston unit, connected inside an enclosed hydraulic circuit, and a gear pump (1) driven in two operating directions, and at least one bypass pipe (11) bridging and blocking the pressure pump (1). The cylinder-piston unit comprises a cylinder (2) in which moves a disc piston (3). The hydraulic circuit contains an invariable quantity. The absorption capacity of the hydraulic motor in both operating directions is the same. The hydraulic circuit is subject to vacuum when not operating. USE/ADVANTAGE - The drive unit uses less energy to reach higher operating speeds; is compact; and requires few controls.
