Repositioning arc welder device in its null position - using electrode wire short circuit to indicate problem and reference pin to allow easy realignment
摘要
Prepositioning a robot arc welder in a reference system which directs the movement of the burner (5) along a predetermined path via control unit (9), consists of drawing out the end of the continuous electrode wire (6) and applying a low voltage to it; guiding the wire through channels (16, 18) made by an earthed block (10) and an adjustable plate (25); recording any possible short circuits arising from contact of the wire with the sides of the channel in which case the wire is withdrawn and the burner repositioned on a reference element (12) after releasing the connection between welder (2) and support (4). In the case of no short circuits the welder is correctly positioned in the reference system and no adjustment is required. ADVANTAGE - Welder can be correctly adjusted after suffering an accidental jolt between burner and robot head in a simple and economic fashion.
