A cycle or ski rack comprises a set of in V-shape arranged branches (2, 3) being at the acute area of the V-shape connected through a spacing providing connecting link means (7 (7A and 7B)) and at this including mutually pivotally and between the in V-shape arranged branches arranged gripping and holding members (8A, 8B) for gripping of a supporting means, such as a trailer ball hitch (1) at the rear of a vehicle. To attain tensioned condition hereon the in V-shape arranged branches (2, 3) are held in position through a toggle-joint like cross link connection comprising link branches (4, 5). For carrying of cycles or skis at at least one of the in V-shape arranged branches (2; 3; 2, 3) at least one carrying arm (2A; 3A; 2A, 3A) able to attain a position for carrying cycles or skis is provided. For the holding also of at least one indicating means (9, 10 (9A, 9B, 10)) a further carrying arm (2C; 3C; 2C, 3C) able to support at least one such indicating means (9A; 9B; 9A, 9B; 10) is pivotally arranged able to be swung away about at least one pivot axis (21, 31). Further supporting elements being arranged between the first said carrying arm (2A or 3A) and the said further carrying arm (2C or 3C) are described. |
