PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester-based composite film for metal laminate, having excellent moldability and heat resistance, suppressing elution of oligomers, thermally bondable to a metal plate and prepare a metal plate and a metal container to which the film is laminated. CONSTITUTION:This polyester-based film for a metal laminate has <=0.7wt.% of an ethylene terephthalate cyclic trimer content in the polyester film comprising a polyester having 210-245 deg.C melting point. The cyclic trimer content is preferably <=0.5wt.%. The polyester-based film is laminated at least one side of a metal plate to provide a laminated metal plate. The laminated metal plate is molded to provide a metal container.
