PURPOSE:To execute a high quality printing by good ink supply and to maintain the stable negative pressure by a simple structure by a constitution wherein a capillary of which one end is connected to an open air communication hole at a part upper a liquid level of a reserved ink to be opened to an external section of an ink tank and the other end is opened into the ink tank in the vicinity of a bottom section thereof is provided. CONSTITUTION:An end of a capillary is connected to an open air communication hole 3 at a part upper a liquid level of a reserved ink to be opened to the open air and the other end is opened into an ink tank 1 in the vicinity of a bottom section thereof to be a hole 5. Along the consumption of the ink 7 in the ink tank 1, an air is intermittently flown into the tank 1 via the hole 5. At that time, a negative pressure in a direction of sucking the ink 7 to the tank 1 via an ink ejection nozzle in a record head section RH is generated in the tank 1 because of a reduction pressure on an air section 8 along the ink consumption and a meniscus force at the hole 5. As a result, the proper negative pressure is applied on the record head section, thereby obtaining stable ink supply and high quality printing. |
