PURPOSE:To simply and detachably mount an ink jet cartridge to a carriage. CONSTITUTION:When the operating lever 310 of a positioning unit 30 fixed to a partition plate 210 is rotated against the energizing force of a spring 330, the grip 312 of the lever 310 presses the upper presser 352 of an arm 350, and presses the upper part of an ink jet cartridge 15. The clamper 358 of the coupling part of the operating part 314 of the lever 310 to an arm is guided via the long hole 358 of the arm 350 to be moved, thereby rotating clockwise the part 314. As the part 314 is moved, the spring 330 is elongated to press the lower pressing part 354 of the arm 350 between positioning ribs 156 and 158 of the heat sink 152 of a recording head 153, presses the lower part of the cartridge 15, and charges the cartridge 15 at a specific position of a carriage 20. |
