摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase joining strength of a cutting edge piece to a tip main body by directly brazing a cubic system baron nitride sintered material-made cutting edge piece to a cutting edge part of a tungsten carbide group cemented carbide-made tip main body through an Ni alloy brazing material. SOLUTION: A composite cutting tip contains Ti: 0.5 to 10% and/or Zr: 0.5 to 10%, and Cr: 5 to 20% in weight%, and also contains one kind or two or more kinds: 2 to 10 % among P, B and Si according to its necessity, and a residual part is formed by directly brazing a CBN sintered material-made cutting edge piece to a cutting edge part of a WC group cemented carbide-made tip main body by using an Ni alloy brazing material having the composition composed of Ni and unavoidable impurity. A component of Ti and Zr has an action which improves joining strength by further improving wettability to a tip main body of the brazing material and the cutting edge piece.
