PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality by improving deterioration in the ratio of signal to noise due to the attenuation of the receiving signal caused by varieties in the distances between oscillators and reflection points according to respective channels. SOLUTION: A compensating gain generator 18 calculates steering angle compensating amplification factors in relation to respective channels using coordinates of oscillators and a steering angle obtained from scanning control signals 14. An attenuation compensating circuit 15 multiplies this compensating amplification factor by a receiving signal 12 of each channel by a multiplier and a receiving signal formed by compensating attenuation of the receiving signal 12 dependent on the steering angle is output. |
