The bed has two support parts (2) that are joined to two longitudinal bars (4), perpendicular to them. The support parts are next to the central part (3) of the head and foot boards and can slide in these, to adjust the width of the bed. The supports parts, the bars and the central parts are geometrical in shape and are made in the same material, such as wood, metal or plastic material. A storage part can be fixed to the support parts.
