PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve partial abrasion resistance in a pneumatic tire provided with a rib-based tread pattern. SOLUTION: In this pneumatic tire, main grooves 7, extending in a tire peripheral direction, are provided on tread surfaces 1X, to provide rib-based tread patterns, forming ribs 10 on at least shoulder parts 1B by the main grooves 7. In this case, the tread radiuses of the tread surfaces 1X differ at shoulder and center parts 1B and 1A, and also the tread radius Rc of the center part 1A is made larger than those of the shoulder parts 1B. At least the main grooves 7 are provided on the tread surfaces, where the circular arcs of the center and shoulder parts 1A and 1B are crossed, to form the ribs 10 on the shoulder part 1B, also slits 11, extending in a tire peripheral direction along the main grooves 7, on the ribs 10 of the shoulder parts 1B in the nearby main grooves 7. |
