Hydraulic damping support

The support comprises first and second (4) rigid armatures connected to the protected components and joined by an elastomer body forming a fluid-filled chamber. The base (11) of the elastomer body contains a metal reinforcing member (13) with projecting lugs (14). The elastomer body is attached to the plate forming the second rigid armature (4) by crimping the lugs (14) over the plate's receiving edges (9). In addition, the support incorporates a rigid cap which is fitted over the elastomer body to limit relative movements of the two rigid armatures.
