FLEXIBLE LAMINATE OF NONWOVEN FABRICS

A flexible nonwoven fabric laminate comprising a spunbonded fabric layer and a melt-blown fabric layer, wherein the spunbonded fabric is constituted of composite fibers consisting of a propylene/ethylene random copolymer (a) and an ethylene polymer (b), and the melt-blown fabric is made from a specific polymer containing ethylene units. The composite fibers preferably are of concentric or eccentric core/sheath type whose surface is made from at least ingredient (b) or are the side-by-side type. Due to the above constitution, the nonwoven fabric laminate is satisfactory in texture and excellent in air permeability, water resistance, and flexibility. It is suitable for use as a material for hygienic materials such as paper diapers and as a material for packaging materials.
