PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a seat reserving system by which a passenger easily reserves a train or changes a reservation and also operation change information is automatically announced to the passenger who reserves the train when the reserved train is canceled in service or delayed owing to an accident or the like. SOLUTION: A communication host 10 unitarily receives train and passenger reservation information from various information equipments 8 and transmits it to a reservation managing host 6, the reservation managing host 6 retrieves a seat managing device 3, executes the reservation and issues a reservation number and a password to the passenger. When operation change information is inputted from a train operation managing system 7 after storing reserved train and passenger reservation information in a passenger reservation information database 9, the passenger who reserves the train is extracted from the passenger reservation information database 9 and operation change information is announced to his communication destination. The passenger changes the reservation based on operation change information, inputs the finally obtained reservation number and the password to a ticket issuing terminal 11 and obtains the ticket for a reserved seat. |
