PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time required for connection of a speech channel between a mobile station and a radio base station by reducing the selection time of the speech channel. SOLUTION: The proposed system consists of an exchange 4 and a plurality of radio base stations 1a-1g that connect to the exchange 4 and perform radio communication with each mobile station resident in a valid area by way of a speech channel. Upon the receipt of a link channel setup request from a mobile station, each of the radio base stations 1a-1g selects a channel with the highest priority from a priority table for each speech channel in the radio base stations 1a-1g and sends a link channel assignment signal to which information of a selected speech channel is set to the mobile station. |
