PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sensitive transfer sheet, having a color material layer containing yellow pigment excellent in a color development density as well as light resistant property, and ink for the heat sensitive transfer sheet. SOLUTION: A heat sensitive transfer sheet is provided on the substrate with a color material layer comprising an yellow pigment shown by a formula in which X shows hydrogen atom, halogen atom, cyano group, nitro group, alkyl group or alkoxycarbonyl group and R shows hydrogen atom or alkyl group. |
