PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming component, having an outermost protective layer whose scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, contacting property, dusting characteristic, transport property and conductivity which are superior. SOLUTION: This image forming component is constituted by incorporating a supporting body, at least one image forming layer and a transparent protective layer which is conductive and abrasion resistant, and the protective layer contains conductive metal-containing fine particles dispersed in a polyurethane film forming binder and a crosslinking agent, and the polyurethane film forming binder shows breaking tensile elongation of less than or equal to 50% and Young's modulus at 2% elongation of equal to or larger than 34,473 N/cm<2> . |
