PURPOSE: A pivot hinge for attaching a panel is provided to support a door by using a horizontal supporting bar extending horizontally from the bottom surface of a fixed panel to a lower portion of the door. CONSTITUTION: A pivot hinge for attaching a panel includes a horizontal supporting bar(80), a panel fixing plate(82), a shaft(90), a section cam(110), a door supporting plate(120) and a locate pin(124). The horizontal supporting bar is fixed at the bottom surface of a fixed panel(70) and extends toward a lower portion of a door(72) horizontally. The panel fixing plate connects the horizontal supporting bar with the fixed panel. The shaft is fixed at the upper surface of the horizontal supporting bar and inserted into a vertical hole(74) formed in the bottom surface of the fixed panel and has a screw hole(92) formed in the perpendicular direction to an axis to be screwed with a screw(84) passing the fixed panel. The section cam is mounted at the upper surface of the horizontal supporting bar and has a slant surface(112) and a pivot hole(114) formed at an upper portion. The door supporting plate is fixed at the bottom of the door and has a pivot shaft(122) inserted into the pivot hole. The locate pin is horizontally mounted from the pivot shaft and slides on the slant surface. |
