PURPOSE: A washing machine and the control method are provided to smoothly supply a rinse by preventing the frost of the rinse. CONSTITUTION: The washing machine contains: a rinse container(30) having an input opening(31) in the upper part and an output hole(33) in the lower end, and to accept a rinse; a heating unit(45) to heat the rinse container by installing in at least a part of the rinse container; a temperature detecting unit(53) to detect the temperature from the outside by arranging in the part of a body; a control unit(50) to heat the heating unit to generate heat when the temperature detected from the temperature detecting unit is under a certain established range. |
