PURPOSE: A styrene thermoplastic resin composition is provided which is excellent in electrostatic discharge resistance and surface glossiness by adding glyceryl monostearate, a higher fatty acid and a surfactant to a rubber-denatured styrene resin. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises: 100 pts.wt. of a rubber-denatured styrene resin having a weight average molecular weight of 200,000-250,000; 1.0-3.0 pts.wt of an anionic surfactant mixture, 0.05-1.0 pts.wt. of glyceryl monostearate and 0.01-0.1 pts.wt. of zinc stearate. The rubber-denatured styrene resin is produced by adding a mono vinyl aromatic compound, a polybutadiene rubber, a liquid paraffin-mineral oil, polydimethylsiloxane or polydiphenylsiloxane, and an antioxidant, followed by mass polymerization. |
