<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation method capable of increasing and decreasing brightness perception obtained from an object. SOLUTION: A main light irradiation part 1 and a sub-light irradiation part 2 for irradiating sub-illumination light 5 to the back or surrounding of an object or from the back or surrounding of the object are installed, and the brightness perception of the object is varied by time control of the sub-illumination light from the sub-light irradiation part. In applying to a lighting system in which the main light irradiation part is a illumination light source of the main illumination light, or a lighting system in which the main light irradiation part is a display lamp of specified display light, by increasing the light intensity of the sub-illumination light from the sub-light irradiation part, brightness perception of the illumination light source or the display lamp is decreased, and by decreasing the light intensity of the sub-illumination light, the brightness perception of the illumination light source or the display lamp is increased. In an image display system in which the main light irradiation part displays an image 4, by increasing the light intensity of the sub-illumination light from the sub-light irradiation part, the brightness perception of a specified image is increased, and by decreasing the light intensity of the sub-illumination light, the brightness perception of a specified image is decreased.</p> |
