PURPOSE: A tester for an engine control program is provided to easily install the engine control program, modify the engine control program, and to confirm the operating state of the parts of the engine. CONSTITUTION: A tester for an engine control program includes an angle signal outputting element(2) connected with an extra operating element(10) for outputting an angle signal according to the rotation, a control part(4) constructed to install the engine control program for outputting a jet signal and an ignition signal according to the angle signal outputted from the angle signal outputting element, a first operating part and a second operating part(6,8) connected with the control part and operated according to the jet signal and the ignition signal, wherein the control part includes a connecting terminal(12) connected with a separated program inputting device(17), a RAM(14) storing the engine control program, and a CPU(16) performing an operation according to the program, so that the engine control program is input or the input program is modified, and a worker confirms the trouble of the engine control program by confirming the operation of the first and second operating parts with the naked eye.
