PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deburring system very simple in the whole construction and easily controllable. SOLUTION: This deburring system has a work supply and receiving device, a work positioning temporary placing device 2, a deburring rotary cutting tool 3 rotating on its axis in a fixed position, and an articulated general robot 4 having a work chuck 5 at the tip. The work positioning temporary placing device 2 is provided with a positioning means for positioning a placed work W. The robot 4 is controlled according to the program of sequentially conducting a work take process for holding and taking out a work W from the work supply and receiving device 1 and supplying the same to the work positioning temporary placing device 2, a work supply process for holding the work positioned by the positioning means in the work positioning temporary placing device 2 and transporting the same to a deburring start position to the rotary cutting tool 3, a deburring process for profile moving the edge to be deburred of the work to the rotary cutting tool 3, and deburring the edge, and a work return process for transferring the work W after the completion of deburring to the work supply and receiving device 1.
