<p>PURPOSE: To provide a wax compsn. used to obtain a toner excellent in low- temp. fixability and anti-offsetting property and ensuring a wide fixing temp. range. CONSTITUTION: This wax compsn. consists essentially of two or more kinds of waxes (low m.p. wax and high m.p. wax) different from each other in m.p. and the heat absorption peaks of this wax compsn. at the time of 2nd temp. rise on a DSC curve measured with a differential scanning calorimeter(DSC) are as follows; the low m.p. wax component has the max. heat absorption peak (P1 ) at 60-90 deg.C and the onset temp. of the start point of each of heat absorption peaks including the max. heat absorption peak P1 is >=50 deg.C. The high m.p. wax component has the max. heat absorption peak (P2 ) at 100-150 deg.C. The max. heat absorption peak P1 of the low m.p. wax component and the max. heat absorption peak P2 of the high m.p. wax component satisfy the formula (peak temp. of P1 )-(peak temp. of P1 )>=20.</p> |
