<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To commonly use a rotating plate for detecting a steering angle even in various types of vehicles having different play amounts. SOLUTION: The system has a correcting zone judging means which judges whether an angle position detecting photosensor 33 is within the correcting zone 80 or not by setting regions of plural numbers of angle detecting slits 34 which exist in a prescribed angle width that is larger than the angle width of a slit 35 for detecting the original position at the correcting zone 80, a mileage judging means which judges whether the mileage is more than the set mileage or not when the angle position detecting photosensor 33 is within the correcting zone 80, a calculating means which respectively calculates the residence time of which the angle position detecting photosensor 33 faces about each angle position detecting slits 34 existing within the correcting zone 80 during the time until the set mileage is transcended, and an original position changing means which changes the angle position detecting slits 34 within the correcting zone 80 corresponding to the maximum residence time among each residence time when the mileage transcends the set mileage to the original position.</p> |
