PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent color mixing in the process of forming a color filter, an electroluminescence light emitting element, and other films.

SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a color filter includes: a process of forming an element 4 which divides a substrate 2 into a plurality of display dot regions 6; a supply process (f) to inject and supply a liquid filter material of a first color through a droplet injecting part 27 into a plurality of first display dot regions 6g selected from the plurality of display dot regions 6; and a supply process (h) after the supply process (f) to inject and supply a liquid filter material of a second color through the liquid droplet injecting part 27 into a plurality of second display dot regions 6r different from the first display dot regions 6g. The injection amount Ar of the liquid filter material in the latter supply process (h) is smaller than the injection amount Ag of the liquid filter material in the former supply process (f).
