An electro-optical apparatus and an electronic apparatus are provided to improve display quality of both permeance-type display and reflection-type display by reducing unclearness of a display outline. A part applies electric field to electro-optical material. A plurality of pixel areas(DR,DG,DB) capable of controlling an optical state of the electro-optical material independently are arrayed. A light permeance part and a light reflection part are prepared at each of the pixel areas. In the pixel areas adjacent with each other to a predetermined array direction, end edges of a direction that vertically crosses to the array direction in light permeance parts are placed at the same position.
