<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting method, which can easily and effectively be performed, and a device for separating a core in a mold. <P>SOLUTION: In the casting method for casting a hollow cast product by holding the core 3 for forming the hollow part combined with organic binder in the mold 1; this casing method is constituted of a first suction process, in which holding parts 5a-5d for holding the core 3 and communicating the outer part with the inner part of the mold 1 are arranged and also, suction pipes 8a,8b connected with a vacuum suction pump 12, are connected with a part of the holding parts 5a-5d and after passing a time preset in a process for pouring the molten metal into the mold 1, gas generated by burning the core 3 with the vacuum suction pump 12 for a preset time is sucked and this gas is exhausted to the out of the mold 1; and a second suction process, in which after completing the solidification of the molten metal by finishing the pouring of the molten metal, and after passing a prescribed time, further, the core 3 is sucked and exhausted from the inner part of the mold 1 with the vacuum-suction pump 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
