PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of detecting anomalies from acceptable traffic affected by anomalous traffic in a communication network. SOLUTION: Detecting anomalies includes receiving acceptable traffic affected by an influencing interaction with anomalous traffic having anomalies. The influencing interaction provides an effect on the acceptable traffic, where the effect indicates the presence of the anomalies.
